Carlton North Chiropractor Michael Melling-Williams

Disabling Back Pain
Dr Michael Melling-Williams first learnt of Chiropractic after moving to Australia from South Africa in 1995. He initially attended a Chiropractor after being told by an orthopaedic surgeon that spinal fusion was the only option for improving disabling back pain that had troubled him for most of his teenage and early adult years. Three months after commencing Chiropractic care Mike returned to his physically demanding job as a Melbourne bicycle courier.
Paramount in Improving Overall Health
Thanks to a thorough education by his Chiropractor Mike learnt that Chiropractic involved more than just neck and back pain. It was this realisation that Chiropractic was paramount in improving overall health by optimizing nerve system function, that motivated Mike to dedicate five years full time study to the Masters degree in Chiropractic at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
At Carlton North Family Chiropractic
Mike’s goal for those who attend CNFC is to attain an optimal level of function and self-awareness through the Chiropractic lifestlye. That lifestlye is appropriately summarised by Thomas A. Edison (1847-1931).......“The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease”
Mike is a certified Applied Kinesiologist and a current member of the Chiropractors' Association of Australia.
Mike is happily married to Bridget and has four healthy boys.
